  1. Cuci bersih ikan, potong2 sesuai selera.
  2. Haluskan bumbu.
  3. Tumis bumbu hingga harum.
  4. Masukan air, tunggu hingga mendidih.
  5. Masukan garam, gula, penyedap rasa, dan perasan jeruk limau/asam jawa. Tes rasa, jika sudah pas masukan ikan dan cabai utuh(jangan di aduk2).
  6. Jika sudah hampir matang masukan daun kemangi, daun salam. Biarkan hingga matang.
  7. Angkat dan sajikan.
